Clearing Title

Reasons to speak to a lawyer about clearing title:

  • You purchased property without obtaining the necessary signatures on the deed (usually inadvertently)
  • There are judgments/liens (lawsuits, IRS, child support, etc.) affecting the property (some may apply and some may not)
  • You purchased a property, paid for it, and now you can't find the owners to sign the deed
  • You inherited property and don't know the location of all the heirs
